What to do in the Event of an Emergency on the Lake
- If you get into trouble on the lake, you should first try and flag someone down that might be close and ask them to pull you into the dock..
- If no one is available to help, you should try calling Moors Marina at 1 (270) 477-8990 for assistance.
- If the emergency is not your fault, we will make every effort to come out and rescue you. However, 68 Rental does not offer towing services. The following numbers are for professional tow companies that you may contact in the event of an emergency:

Do I need a license to rent a boat or jet ski?
No, you don’t need a license. However, you must be 18 years or older with a valid state or federally issued ID.
How many people can ride a jet ski at one time?
We only allow two people to ride the jet skis at a time.
How fast will the jet skis go?
On smooth water they will top out at 50mph!
Do I have to wear a life jacket?
Yes. We will provide a sport vest that fits you. If you’re caught by the Coast Guard they will impound the vehicle.
Can I rent for just part of the day?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer hourly rentals; we only provide our rentals at designated times. Please check each rental for the pickup and dropoff times.
What happens if I wreck a rental?
We are all human, and accidents do happen. If there is any damage, we will have to keep your security deposit to ensure that the rental gets the repairs it needs.
When and where are the rentals delivered?
We deliver and pick up our rentals to Moors Boat Ramp at Moors Marina. Delivery times vary from model to model, so please check the rental details for the exact time. Delivery times may not be changed, but you’re free to tie the rental up at the dock until you’re ready to depart.
